2022 IAEM-USA Region 8 Officers Election

On Aug. 1, 2022, each eligible voter in IAEM-USA Region 8 (Individual, Affiliate, and Lifetime members) will receive an email from IAEM Headquarters notifying them that voting has begun in the 2022 IAEM-USA Region 8 Officers Election. Please retain the email from IAEM HQ, as it includes your individual link to the online ballot. (Note: You will also receive a separate email from IAEM HQ giving you a link to the IAEM-USA Council officers election ballot, so be sure to retain both of these emails so that you can vote in both the regional and council elections.)

In this election, there is one candidate for Regional President, one candidate for Region Vice President, and one candidate for Region Secretary-Treasurer. Before you vote, you are encouraged to review the candidate statement. The candidate's name links to their candidate statement.

Voting Period

  • Start Date: The voting period begins on Aug. 1, 2022, when all voting members are sent the announcement from IAEM Headquarters.
  • End Date: The online ballot will remain open until Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2022, 5:00 p.m. EDT.

How to Vote

  • When you are ready to vote, click on the link to your individual ballot that is found in the email sent to you by IAEM HQ on Aug. 1, 2022. 
  • Your individual voting link is unique to you and will take you directly to the online ballot where you can cast your vote. Do not share this voting link.
  • The ballot consists of two multiple-choice question. Click on your selected response, and then click on the SUBMIT button at the bottom of the ballot.
  • Once you click on the SUBMIT button, your vote is recorded. You can't go back, and you can't make changes -- so be sure that your ballot is as you want it BEFORE you click the SUBMIT button.

Privacy

As with our previous online voting system, your privacy is protected when you vote in an IAEM online election. Your personal choices will not be shared with anyone and are held confidential.
