Dr Susan Agada is an international Disaster and Emergency Management professional/practitioner. She is a professor of Disaster and Emergency Management and has taught in the field at various levels in universities in Canada. She continues to work with local communities across Benue State in Nigeria to help build resilience to the challenges of perennial flooding. Dr Agada is passionate about enhancing disaster education and training with the aim of building local capacity that will contribute to the reduction of vulnerability and increase in resilience.
