Place Your Online Bid By June 15 to Provide Funds to Send Students to School

The IAEM Scholarship Program “2021 Encore Auction” is now open. The auction will close at 10:00 p.m. EDT, June 15, 2021. Your bids will help us further the education of students studying the field of emergency management, disaster management or a related program. Some items open for bid include: jewelry; Indonesian Red Cross shirt and patches; historic dude ranch vacation in Arizona; several COVID-19 response challenge coins; beach vacations and more. Visit the auction website to set up your BiddingForGood account. The next auction will begin in May. If you have items, especially EM collectibles, to donate, please contact IAEM Scholarship Program Director Dawn Shiley.

Participate in Online Auctions via BiddingforGood.com

The IAEM Scholarship Program hosts online auctions throughout the year on the BiddingForGood.com portal. The portal is used only by 501c3 charities for fundraising activities. You can help with auctions in many ways.

  • Donate items/services to be auctioned. Items may be donated online at www.BiddingForGood.com/IAEMScholarshipProgram when an auction is live. If you have multiple items to donate or want to donate during a time when there is no live auction, please contact IAEM Scholarship Program Director Dawn Shiley at shiley@iaem.com. She will help with the donation. All sorts of items are welcome as donations. Items that have sold particularly well in the past include emergency management/civil defense collectibles, challenge coins, jewelry, electronics, vacation rentals, gift baskets, artwork, and more. If it is an item you would want to purchase for yourself or as a gift for someone, it would be a good item to donate.
  • Bid in the online auctions at www.BiddingForGood.com/IAEMScholarshipProgram.

Make IAEM Scholarship Program a Beneficiary in Your Will, Living Trust or Life Insurance

Participate in Events at the Annual Conference

Each year IAEM solicits items to be auctioned at the Annual Conference. Items may be sent to IAEM Headquarters for this event throughout the year. In addition to the Live and Silent Auctions, regions, councils, caucuses, and chapters prepared baskets based on themes of their choice. Attendees participate in a raffle for these baskets.
