IAEM-Middle East comprises seven geographically close countries. Leaders strive to build a network of emergency management professionals across the Middle East who actively promote disaster preparedness and resilience. The council brings value to those within the emergency management profession and periodically hosts or co-hosts conferences to provide learning opportunities.

IAEM-Middle East represents Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Egypt, Gaza Strip/West Bank, Georgia, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, and Yemen. Periodically, IAEM-Middle East hosts or co-hosts conferences to provide learning opportunities.
