Purpose Statement

The purpose of the Disaster Cost Recovery Ad Hoc Committee is to educate IAEM members on the process and issues involved in disaster cost recovery under FEMA's Public Assistance program as authorized by the Stafford Act. A further purpose of the DCRC is to share the knowledge of experienced DCRC members with those members with other or lesser degrees of experience with the Public Assistance program. The ultimate goal is to enable eligible agencies to obtain the maximum allowable cost reimbursement through education and planning.
