The International Association of Emergency Managers is enhancing current benefits and implementing efforts to support federal employees in emergency management or disaster relief whose employment may have been impacted by recent changes. This resource center includes information on IAEM’s Career Center and job board, complimentary memberships and dues, and access to educational materials and the IAEM Bulletin.
IAEM is offering a one-year complimentary membership to federal federal employees who work in emergency management and disaster relief who were terminated due to cutbacks. This offer includes members of the NCCC workforce, AmeriCorps, FEMA Corps, CDC, HHS/Public Health, SBA, HUD, and other federal entities that support emergency management. This will:

Current members whose membership dues are in the renewal or cancellation queue will receive an additional 90-day grace period. This applies to all memberships due by June 30, 2025.
Federal emergency management personnel who have been laid off are also entitled to complimentary on-demand access for the sessions from the IAEM Plugged In Virtual Conference that took place on May 9.
