Join IAEM-USA Region 9 for their symposium scheduled for Aug. 12-13, 2025, at the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii on Oahu. This event will provide opportunities to discuss regional and national topics around the future of emergency management.  

The IAEM Certification Exam will be offered on Aug. 14, 2025, for an additional fee as a post-event add-on. 

There will be optional networking events, starting with the Elk's Lodge on Aug. 11 from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. (sponsored by the City and County of Honolulu Department of Emergency Management), Beer Lab Hawaii–Puck's Alley on Aug. 12 from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. (sponsored by the Emergency Management Professionals of Hawaii), and on Aug. 13 from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. (sponsored by IEM). Make sure to sign up  on the registration page if you will be attending any of these events.
