IAEM-USA Region 9 Post-Event Training 

IAEM Certification Exam 

The IAEM Certification Exam will be offered from 

1:00-3:30 p.m. local time on August 13, 2026

Location and Details for Registants: Department of Emergency Management, 4650 South King Street, Basement, Honolulu, 96813. There is metered parking for the building. Please ensure you are on-site to register by 12:45. You will need to park in the garage and sign in at the security desk at the Fasi Building entrance. DEM is located in the building's basement.

An additional fee is required to sit for the exam. You must be:

• Enrolled in the certification program, 
• Paid the application fee in full separately.
• Register for the certification exam within the IAEM-USA Region 9 Symposium registration process. 

Only those who have paid the application fee in full and have added the exam function to their registration are eligible sit for the exam. Candidates will have one year from the date of the exam to submit their credentials for review.
