The IAEM Latin America Council Professional Recognition Program is designed to improve Global preparedness, resilience, and risk reduction by recognizing increasing levels of training, experience, and professional contributions by emergency managers in a manner that is achievable and effective across any geographic region. This professional recognition program is available to those from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
There are three levels of recognition for Professional Emergency Development. Each level of recognition is significant on its own, and there is no requirement that any candidate complete all levels.
Application fees are in USD. Payment is due at the time of registration.
Renewal fees for any level of recognition are $150.00 for IAEM members and $225.00 for non-members.
