This meeting has been postponed. All registrants who have paid the registration fee will receive a refund in the same method of payment. If you booked a hotel room and/or made an airline reservation, you need to make arrangements yourself to cancel their travel plans, including lodging.

Message from IAEM-USA Region 4

IAEM-USA Region 4 leadership along with the IAEM-USA Region 4 Conference Committee have been closely monitoring the situation regarding the COVID-19 virus that is currently affecting populations across the globe. As emergency managers, we are keenly aware of the impacts that widespread illness can have our local and global communities. With that being said, we have made the extremely difficult decision to postpone the Region 4 Conference, which was previously scheduled to be held April 26-29, 2020 in Huntsville, AL.  We are working with the conference venue to reschedule the event and details will be forthcoming over the next several weeks.

This is a decision that was difficult to make as we had an amazing panel of speakers and felt that this was going to be one of the best conferences we’ve ever put on. However, as emergency managers, we could not in good conscience continue with this event while encouraging the public to minimize travel and large events.

IAEM Headquarters will be providing information regarding refunds to registrants and sponsors and we will let everyone know when registration reopens for the rescheduled event. We also want to thank all members of the conference committee for their hard work thus far.

While there may be a slight delay, we still plan to see you in Huntsville!
