Start a Student Chapter

To start a student chapter at your university or college, please download the "Student Chapter in a Box" documents. Included are step-by-step instructions, as well as all the paperwork and contact information that you need. The basic steps are:

• Download the zipped file for all "Student Chapter in a Box" documents (updated 10 Apr 2020)
• Organize an informational meeting to recruit support.
• Submit all preliminary paperwork to Carol Tagliaferri for approval.
• Formal charters will be awarded once you begin meeting and submit final paperwork.

Annual Renewal Forms

Please submit the following annual Student Chapter renewal forms to Carol Tagilaferri:

• Chapter Information Form
• Current Bylaws
• Current Bank or University Account Statement
• Current Membership Roster verifying a minimum of 5 paid IAEM-USA Members
• Summary of Activities Form
