Poster Showcase Participant Registration*

• All poster participants must register for the conference.
• Participants chosen to display their posters and who have completed the requirements of their Poster Showcase Division will receive discounted registration to the annual conference.
• A special registration code will be emailed to speakers after registration opens.

* The Poster Showcase poster, video and competitive division virtual evaluation sessions are intended for a single participant per poster. Other collaborators are welcome to attend the annual conference and participate in the Poster Showcase presentation session for attendees, however, discounted registration is only available for the selected participant who submitted for the Poster Showcase.

Participant Benefits

• Participants who are chosen to display their posters will receive certificates of participation that document credit towards the IAEM Certification Program under Professional Contribution Category F, Speaking.
• Opportunity to consult with a coach who can provide feedback on poster development, oral presentation skills, review of the final poster pdf submission or answer questions in relation to the evaluating guidelines.
• Opportunity to earn recognition from IAEM if you meet the qualifications of a gold, silver or bronze standard. (Competitive Division participants only)
• Your name listed as a speaker in the conference program and IAEM2Go mobile app.
• Your abstract, pdf of your poster and 4-minute video posted on the conference website and included in the IAEM2Go mobile app.
• Excellent networking opportunities to interact with others interested in your topic in the emergency management profession.
• Peer recognition at the premier event for the emergency management profession.
• A prime highly desirable location to display your poster.

Participant Responsibilities

• Learn all the requirements and how to submit a proposal in the Poster Showcase Guidance
• All participants must submit the final PDF image of the poster and the 4-minute recorded presentation by September 11, 2026.
• If entering the Competitive Division, you must attend the virtual Poster Showcase evaluation session during your assigned 15-minute timeslot between Tuesday - Thursday, October 13 – 15, 2026.
• All participants must set up their Poster in the designated area by Monday, November 9, 2026 at 8:00 AM.
• All participants are required to attend the Poster Showcase presentation session on Tuesday, November 10, 2026 during the morning program break.
• All Posters must be removed by Wednesday, November 11, 2026 at 2:00 PM.
• Under no circumstances may this platform be used as a place for direct promotion of a participant’s product, service or organization.
