On Jan. 15, the IAEM Conference Committee hosted "Tips for a Successful Breakout Speaker Proposal" webinar. This helpful session provides tips on crafting a strong breakout speaker proposal for the 74th IAEM Annual Conference & EMEX in Long Beach, California. Learn more about the mandatory requirements, insider tips from the reviewing committee, the 2026 breakout focus areas, and how to use the online portal to submit your proposal. If you are interested in speaking at the next conference, this webinar and the Speaker Submission Guidance will give you clear guidance and make the process feel more manageable.

Breakout Sessions

The Call for Speakers will open on Friday, January 9, 2026, and will close on Friday, February 13, 2026.
Speaker notifications will be sent by May 1, 2026.

How to Submit an Online Submission Form

1. Navigate to https://www.iaem.org/ 
   1. If you are an IAEM member or non-member that has attended a conference, submitted a previous application, has or is working on certification, or signed up for any IAEM activity, log into the website. (If you do not remember your password, you may retrieve it by providing the email used previously with IAEM.)
   2. If you are not a member and have never interacted with IAEM you will need to create a guest account.

                                                            i. Select Login at top left.

                                                            ii.Select Register to create a guest account.

2. Once logged in, click on the Dashboard tab of the menu ribbon, then click on “Membership Dashboard” on the left-hand side menu and select “Speaker Submission.” 

3. The submission form has 5 pages: Speaker Information, Submission Information, Additional Speakers, Additional Details, and Speaker Agreement.

The Call for Speakers will open Monday, March 9, 2026 and close on Friday, April 10, 2026.
