Who are Ambassadors?

The folks you see wearing those big buttons are there to help you have an amazing conference experience. From helping you find your seats, to helping you find the food, IAEM Ambassadors are here to answer your questions and find you some answers. 

Ambassadors can:

• Show you where you are on a map,
• Guide you to the next round of sessions and session locations,
• Make sure you know of events going on to network,
• Connect you to a caucus member,
• Help you find a seat in a crowded room!

Interested in becoming an Ambassador for the Conference?

If you answer yes to all of the following questions, then joining the IAEM Ambassador program is for you.

Do you like networking and meeting new people?
Are you an IAEM member in good standing?
Have you been to an IAEM Annual Conference before?

Serving as an IAEM Ambassador does not take more than a friendly smile and an up-beat welcoming approach.

No formal training is required, just follow these steps to be an Ambassador.

1. Review this short presentation for an overview of the Ambassador role.
2. Sign Up to volunteer at designated time slots to help other attendees. Sign Up Genius will be posted soon.
3. Join us for an orientation session on Sunday, November 17 at 1:30pm in the Colorado Springs Convention Center.
4. Pick up your Ambassador button at the registration desk or the orientation session to identify your role as an Ambassador at the conference.

Serving as an Ambassador is a great way to network at a higher level during the conference, while assisting your fellow attendees.
