Certification Mark Usage

Once applicants receive the official notice from IAEM Headquarters about successfully earning the certification, they may use the “AEM” or “CEM” after their name. IAEM-USA has registered the certification marks “AEM^®” and “CEM^®” with the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, and certified individuals should use the registered trademark symbol when using the mark. Individuals must stop using the AEM/CEM certification if they do not recertify under the current program.
