Join IAEM-USA Region 9 for our symposium scheduled for August 11-12, 2026 at the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawai'i on Oahu. This event will provide opportunities to discuss regional and national topics around the future of emergency management. The IAEM Certification Exam will be offered on August 13th after the symposium, for an additional fee. There will also be an optional opening night networking event on August 10th. Come to Honolulu, HI and join in with your fellow IAEM-USA Region 9 colleagues. Continental breakfast, all day beverage service (coffee, tea, ice tea and water) and a buffet lunch are included for both days.

Registration Fee and Early Bird Deadline:
Payment is due at the time of registration.  Early bird registration deadline is Friday, June 12, 2026 for registrations received by IAEM headquarters.  Rates increase as of Saturday, June 13, 2026, and will be subject to a late registration fee.

Registration Deadline - Friday, July 31, 2026:
In order to lock in your registration rate you must complete an online registration form and obtain a registration number.   Late and onsite registrations is not available.


Registrant Cancellation Policy:
All cancellations must be in writing and sent to Sharon@iaem.com. Cancellations received by July 31, 2026 will be refunded minus a $25 processing fee. No refunds as of August 1, 2026.


 
CEM / AEM Examination Participation - candidates will be taking the updated exam on August 13, 2026 from 1:00 - 3:30 pm. 
Please make sure you are studying the new resource list at https://www.iaem.org/Certification/Resource-Center:   The certification application fee (which is an additional fee from registration fee) is required to sit for the exam. Registration deadline: Friday, July, 31, 2026. Unfortunately, late registrations cannot be accommodated. You must be enrolled in the certification program and have paid the application fee in full separately ($430 for IAEM members; $640 for non-members). Only those who have paid the application fee in full are eligible to register and sit for the exam. Candidates will have one year from the date of the exam to submit their credentials for review.
