We reserve the right to cancel or reduce the number of registrants and class sizes for training courses and optional outings at the IAEM 2021 Annual Conference in accordance with restrictions on gatherings as set by Local, State, and Federal jurisdictions applicable at the time of the event or if minimum participation is not met.

Participation in the IAEM Annual Conference and all associated activities is at the attendees' own risk.

Sunday Night Welcome Party and the Wednesday Night Presidential Banquet tickets are included for: IAEM member full, IAEM student members, non-member full, speaker, spouse/significant other, and press registrations.

The early bird registration deadline is 11:59 pm Eastern Time on Friday, September 10, 2021 for registrations received by IAEM headquarters. Registration fees increase as of Saturday, 11, 2021 and will be subject to a late registration fee. In order to lock in your registration rate, you must complete an online registration form and obtain a registration number (payment is not necessary at the time this step is completed). Your registration fee amount due is based on the date you register online.

Cancellation policy - You may cancel in writing by 11:59 pm Eastern Time on October 1, 2021 to receive a refund minus a $50 cancellation processing fee. We regret we cannot refund any fees as of October 2, 2021. If we do not hear from you by October 1, 2021 we will assume that you will participate based on your registration and will incur costs on your behalf. Therefore, if you do not cancel, your registration fees are due even if you do not attend.

The IAEM Annual Conference scheduled for October 18-20, 2021 in Grand Rapids, MI will provide a forum for current trends and topics, information about the latest tools and technology in emergency management and homeland security, and advances IAEM committee work.

CEM / AEM Examination Participation: An additional fee is required to sit for the exam. You must be enrolled in the certification program and paid the application fee in full separately ($410 for IAEM members; $620 for non-members). Only those who have paid the application fee in full are eligible to register and sit for the exam. Candidates will have one year from the date of the exam to submit their credentials for review.
