The IAEM-USA Region 5 Virtual Sunshine Summit is an opportunity to facilitate communication, collaboration, and knowledge sharing among participants. Participants will hear from Region 5 President Allison Farole, IAEM-USA President Justin Kates, FEMA Region 5 Administrator Tom Sivak, Columbiana County (OH) Emergency Manager Peggy Clark, and a slate of victim care advocates to discuss criminal mass violence with a focus on victim care. To round out the summit, we’ll facilitate a Power Hour. The Power Hour will consist of short presentations, one from each state, highlighting unique project initiatives, project implementations, or presentations on a particular passion. Registration deadline is June 24, 2024. The Summit will take place on June 26, 2024 from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm ET.
