We want to learn about your experiences and thoughts on topics related to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI). IAEM is conducting four virtual listening sessions over Zoom for current and former IAEM members.

These listening sessions will be facilitated by our independent, DEI expert team, Farzana Nayani, Consulting & Training.

Registration is required to attend a listening session. Remember that you must select "Check Out" and then "Process Order" at the end of the registration process to submit your registration and receive a registration confirmation email.

Each listening session will provide a safe environment in which individuals have the time and ability to provide meaningful feedback.

In order to maximize the participation and engagement for the most people, you may only register and attend one session, and each virtual gathering will include up to 60 participants to help ensure that everyone has the opportunity to be heard. IAEM will maintain a small waitlist for each session and will fill openings as they become available (note that this will likely be a last-minute notification if seats are vacated).

If you are unable to attend a session or do not feel comfortable doing so, there are additional opportunities to be heard. IAEM will also work with Nayani’s team to distribute a survey to gather feedback on experiences and perceptions related to DEI within IAEM. In addition, feedback may be provided directly via email at DEI-feedback@iaem.com.
