This online AEM/CEM exam will be held in conjunction with the 2026 Emergency Management Conference hosted by the Alaska Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management - 600 W 7th Ave, Anchorage, AK 99501.

The Certification exam will occur on Tuesday, March 31st, from 1:30p - 4:00p. 

The exam will be held online via provided devices. Paper exams will not be available.

Onsite registration for the exam is not available. Participants must register and pay their Certification Fee by the registration deadline. The registration deadline is Monday, February 2nd.

Candidates will also be allowed 2.5 hours for the exam. IAEM recently updated the test item bank based on the initial results of the pilot exam. A passing score is 500 on a scale of 200 to 800.
